Having worked in the online advertising arena for more than three years now, I have come across many different backend reporting systems, each having positive and negative features. Recently we moved our Network over to our New System and publishers have had nothing but rave reviews. First and foremost, the tracking is impeccable. We have, in the past, had issues with our stats not matching up with our publisher’s stats. Our new system has 99.999 (and so on) % accuracy in tracking. Making sure that my publisher’s get credit for the leads that they generate is my number one priority. With our new back end, I do not need to worry – my pubs get credit when credit is due.

Secondly, our new interface is extremely easy to navigate through and has several highly useful tools. When my publisher’s tell me that they are going to run a campaign, I can go to the Creative Packager feature. It takes just moments for me to highlight the creatives and/or banners I want them to use, check the links, suppression file and From/Subj, and it downloads right into a Zip file that I then drag into an email and send off. I know how valuable my Affiliate’s time is and if I can assist them in anyway thereby giving them a few extra minutes to work on something else, I’m always happy to do so.

Another great aspect of the new system is that our Stats page is a lot easier and more understandable to interpret. The statistics are broken down by campaign, and even by affiliate. Each affiliate also has a standing report attached to their name and affiliate ID stating how much revenue they have generated that particular month. This feature allows me, as an Affiliate Manager, to keep track of revenues and affiliates in a much more in your face way. Every time I see one of my pubs with a $0.00 next to their name is a reminder for me to get on the phone and make stuff happen.
